Chaitanya Mandira (Old Age Home)

The idea of a "retirement home" can frighten many older people, as the idea that it has long been deeply rooted in society gives a negative impression. Every time we hear this word, the elderly think of loneliness, abandonment, separation from pedigree, reduced care, and security. Over the last few decades, Indian homes for the elderly have become shelters for incompetent and dependent people. Finding dignity and autonomy can be a bit difficult, as few homes are unable to provide adequate care or the type of care that the elderly deserve. By breaking all of these criteria and redefining the terminology, Chaitanya Mandira is trying to make a difference in the lives of the elderly.

The atmosphere inside the facility is pleasant and helps seniors grow older gracefully, and makes every moment memorable. Elderly people have a dedicated personal assistant who is willing to meet all their needs. Here, older people have the opportunity to meet people of their own tastes and interests.

Our goal is that elders at Chaitanya Mandira (old age home) do not feel lonely or socially isolated because of their age. Daily activities take care of their physical problems, and interactive sessions keep their minds active and interactive. We take care of them and make sure that the elderly receives all nutrition-based food and get plenty of rest according to certain parameters that are medically approved and followed around the world.

Chaitanya Mandira established in the year 2004. From then on it has sheltered 281 senior citizens till now. At present it is sheltering 49 senior citizens (18 males and 31 females). To join for this old age home, the elder has to provide his age proof document certified by the Tahsildar.

We provide free and comfortable accommodation to the elderly with the aim to give them peace in their later days of life. We take care that these elders do not face any discomfort.

Our old age home provides special medical facilities such as mobile medical systems, nurses, and ambulances to older people and takes special care of them.

24/7 Ambulance service

The organization also has active medical staff to care for the elderly. Our Emergency Response is a unique facility for the elderly, including a 24/7 helpline to arranging midnight ambulances.

Experienced staff

As Elderhood is the twin form of childhood that requires care and love, we have a team of enthusiastic and experienced staff who take care of our lovely elders with lots of love and patience.

Recreation facilities

Our old age home has a games room, library, and physiotherapy section to provide a space for the elderly in the city to enjoy their hobbies and participate in other leisure activities.

Transportation facilities

We also provide mobility and transport services for older people are essential to maintain their independence with minimal risk of injury.

Equipment for hot water at all times

Our old age home also has installed Equipment for hot water at all times, such as a solar water heater. Our elderly has access to hot water at any time.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy improves balance, movement, and organ function in the body and helps older people live quality lives. We offer this service to speed up the recovery of the elderly and avoid surgery.

Entertainment television with newspaper

We take care that our elderly does not get bored at any time. To keep them entertained, we also have television along with the newspaper in our old age home.

Festivals celebration

All members of our old age home live like a family. We stay together in each other's joys and sorrows. We celebrate all the festivals together.

Temple

Sri Chaitanya Gangadhareshwara temple was inaugurated on 7-6-2015 in the ashrama with the purpose of providing peace of mind to the residents of this ashrama. Bhajans and prayers will be conducted regularly.
